This project centers on Open Innovation, a business paradigm that encourages collaboration between companies and external stakeholders to reduce financial risk and accelerate competitive advantage.

In partnership with INL, the challenge was to design a platform that enables new forms of collaboration that benefits all parties, helping stakeholders to bridge differences and build shared solutions that create value for all sides.

Conducted a exploratory research, including interviews and surveys, to understand whether the stakeholders were familiar with the concept of Open Innovation, whether they had previously used a platform, and, if so, what challenges they faced.

Taking into account all the research completed and the other platforms we used during and before, such as Miro (which we used for brainstorming, content strategy, and workflows), providing a structure that facilitated the creation of the initial wireframes.

The main challenge was to create a solution that met INL’s goals and requirements, while making it less tedious and complex. Even if the number of steps couldn’t be reduced, we could make the process feel easier and more engaging by dividing the steps or helping users understand why each step was necessary.

During the development of the wireframes, we explored different user paths and outcomes (User Journeys), refined UX statements and UX writing, and evaluated whether the goals could be achieved. We then gathered user feedback and made necessary adjustments to improve the experience.
